Whistlepipe Gully.

This delightful bush walk starts at cul-de-sac at the very beginning of Orange Valley Road, Kalamunda and finishes
at Lewis Road in Forestfield. It follows Whistlepipe Gully, which has water in it all the year round and is a dramatic,
fast flowing creek in winter. The walk is downhill from Orange Valley Road with two moderately steep sections, so those who
prefer to take it easy on the return journey should start at the Lewis Road end.
The round trip as described here takes approximately 1.5 hrs, but other tracks intersect and walks can be configured to suit personal preferences.

We follow the track from Orange Vally Road into the bush. Below and to our left Whistlepipe Gully cuts its way along the
vally bottom. After a brief, shallow climb the dogs on track lead us down the face of the vally to join the fast
flowing creek.
